Enterprise SaaS

Pre-Seed & Seed Funding for Marketing Automation Startups

We back founders automating the hard parts of marketing, such as campaign operations, content approvals, and measurement for companies that sell to many stakeholders over many months.

Beta Boom Perspectives

Where we're looking in marketing automation

Marketing teams run on dozens of tools and a lot of manual handoffs. We look for products that take on the hard parts, and we want to hear about the ones we haven't named.

01
Campaign operations

Taking the busywork out of every launch

Behind every launch is a long list of small jobs: building audiences, setting up tracking, resizing assets, syncing the CRM, and checking that everything went live. Agents and workflow software can take on most of it, with a person approving the steps that matter. We want to meet founders who know how a marketing operations team spends its week.
02
Content review and compliance

Getting content approved without the back-and-forth

In finance, insurance, and energy, claims in an ad or an email often need legal and compliance sign-off. Products that check content against the rules before it reaches review, and keep track of who approved what, can save weeks on a campaign. We want to meet founders who have sat through that review cycle.
03
Measurement for long sales cycles

Knowing what moved the deal

A B2B deal can run for many months and involve a whole buying committee, and a last-click report has little to say about it. Connecting marketing activity to pipeline and revenue across a long cycle is a question marketing leaders get asked every quarter. We want to hear from founders with a better way to answer it.
04
Selling to a buying committee

Reaching everyone who signs off

Enterprise purchases rarely rest with one person. A product with an economic buyer, a champion, a security reviewer, and a daily user needs a different message for each, kept consistent across channels. We want to meet founders who can show how they handle that for a complex product.

Marketing Automation

Who We Want To Back
01
Founders who know the marketer's week. You can walk us through how a campaign gets from idea to launch, who touches it, and where it stalls. You've run campaigns or sat beside the people who do.
02
Founders who care about the craft. You know what makes a message land with a buyer, and you hold your product's output to that standard, including the cases a template can't handle.
03
Founders who measure what matters. You can show us which numbers moved after your product went live, and which ones you decided to stop tracking.
04
Founders who keep testing. You try a new channel, message, or product shape every few weeks and keep what works. Creativity and tenacity count here.

An Open and Transparent Process

We've been founders, and we remember how it feels to wait on an investor. So we built our process around what we wished we'd gotten. Here's what to expect.

01

No Warm Intro Needed

We welcome direct applications. Nobody gets a head start from a referral, so you can skip the hunt for an intro.

02

A Response Within a Week

You'll hear back within a week, either a pass or an invitation to talk. Either way, you'll know where you stand.

03

Conversation First

Skip the rehearsed pitch. We'd rather talk through what you're building, where you want to take it, and learn about what got you where you are.

04

We Come Prepared

We take every meeting seriously. We’ll never show up distracted or unprepared. Your time is valuable, and we treat it that way.

05

Mutual Fit Matters

Taking on an investor is a long-term relationship. Ask us hard questions and take the time you need to decide if we're the right partner.

06

Diligence in 4 to 6 Weeks

Our diligence process typically takes about 4 weeks. If we decide to pass along the way, we'll tell you quickly so you can get back to building and raising.
