Quick Tips for Getting the Most Out of This List
As a founder, you probably have way too much to do and not nearly enough time to raise capital. That’s why it’s important to work smarter, not harder.
After working with dozens of founders, we have found that the most impactful practice that you can employ to make your raise successful is focusing on those investors that are very strongly aligned with your startup. Don’t waste time reaching out to those funds with whom you have virtually no chance.
For example, if you are building a FinTech startup and are raising a Seed round, there is virtually no chance that you will get investment from an EdTech growth fund that invests in Series A and above. Don’t waste your time with investors that don’t fit what you’re doing and your stage of growth!
To help you efficiently target investors that are right for you, we have included the two main criteria—vertical focus and investment stage—that you can use to build your own target list of investors.
