About Beta Boom
Beta Boom is pre-seed and seed fund investing in founders who defy the mainstream.
There's a dirty secret in B2B SaaS sales: closing an enterprise deal often depends on whether your product feels native inside your customer's CRM. Not just connected to it but native to it. The kind of deep, installable integration that enterprise procurement teams actually trust. For most SaaS companies, building that integration means either spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on consultants and waiting six months, or pulling their best engineers off their core roadmap to wrestle with the labyrinthine requirements of Salesforce's AppExchange review process. Appnigma AI was built to make that problem disappear.
The Opportunity
The CRM integration market is a $15 billion space that has been perpetually underserved. Not for lack of demand, but because the problem is deceptively hard. Anyone who has run a native Salesforce integration project knows that the technical complexity isn't just in the code; it's in the packaging, the documentation, the compliance requirements, and the long back-and-forth review process with the CRM platform itself. LLMs trained on general patterns and averages struggle here because the nuance is in the exceptions. That's why, despite decades of developer tooling progress, hundreds of consulting firms still charge $100,000-$150,000+ per native CRM integration. The market hasn't been automated because the problem demands deep, specialized expertise—exactly the kind of moat that is hardest to replicate.
The Company
Appnigma AI is a platform that takes B2B SaaS companies from a plain-language prompt to a production-ready, CRM-native application in days, not months. Founders describe their integration requirements (the endpoints, the data flows, the use cases) and Appnigma AI auto-generates all the code, metadata, components, and configuration files needed to build a certified, installable CRM app. The result isn't a middleware workaround sitting outside the CRM; it's a first-class application that can be listed directly on the Salesforce AppExchange or HubSpot Marketplace, with continuous maintenance built in.
The numbers validate the need. Appnigma closed its first paying customer just weeks after launch, and has grown to 12 customers and $135K ARR in under eight months while entirely bootstrapped. Customers include recognized B2B tech companies like Warmly, Pylon, Seam AI, Hyperbound, and UserEvidence. When Warmly's CEO Max Greenwald told Sunny his only feedback was "you need to charge more," it was a signal that Appnigma had found genuine product-market fit.
The Founders
Sunny Chauhan, CEO and co-founder, didn't arrive at Appnigma through a conventional path. As a teenager in Sacramento, Sunny was already doing the mental math of a founder: scouring yard sales on weekends, buying items for a few dollars, and flipping them on eBay for a profit. It was an early demonstration of a mindset that would define his career—find undervalued things, add effort and ingenuity, and create value where others don't see it. When his parents pushed him toward pharmacy school, Sunny trusted his own read of the situation instead. He dropped out, taught himself to code, and eventually earned a role at Salesforce, where he spent years in technical partnerships working alongside more than 250 startups building CRM integrations. He watched the same painful, expensive story play out over and over.
Amarjit Singh (AJ), CTO and co-founder, has been Sunny's collaborator for 16 years and the two have been friends since high school. They were co-workers before they were co-founders. AJ is the engineering force behind Appnigma: a Salesforce-certified developer and ML engineer who built the platform end-to-end and continues to lead a team that ships features at a pace that consistently surprises their customers and investors alike. His 4+ years of deep Salesforce and CRM development work (building custom apps, managing API changes, navigating permission models) means the product isn't theoretically designed for this problem; it was built by someone who has lived the pain of maintaining CRM integrations firsthand.
Together, Sunny and AJ represent something Beta Boom looks for in every investment: founders for whom this problem isn't an intellectual exercise. It's a problem they've each spent years inside of, from different angles, and that they're uniquely equipped to solve.
Why We Invested
Sergio Paluch, General Partner at Beta Boom, has led native Salesforce integration projects himself, and he knows firsthand that the complexity is not going away. What struck him about Appnigma wasn't just the technology; it was the founders' relationship with urgency. When Sunny first connected with Beta Boom, he made an unusual decision: rather than push forward with a fundraise, he paused it entirely and went back to prove the business. Five weeks later, he returned with revenue that had exceeded his own projections. That moment, the willingness to delay capital in favor of building conviction through results, told us something important about how Sunny and AJ operate under pressure and about their drive.
We also believe this market is underestimated precisely because the problem looks solved from the outside. Middleware tools like Zapier exist; consultants exist; DIY with LLMs exist. But native, production-ready CRM applications that meet enterprise procurement standards? That's a far narrower, far more defensible category. Appnigma sits at that intersection, and the customer reference calls we conducted were among the most enthusiastic we've encountered: honest, detailed, and full of genuine appreciation for what the product had made possible. We led Appnigma's $1M pre-seed round alongside angels from Google and YouTube who share our conviction.
What's Next
With this investment, Appnigma will hire key engineering and go-to-market talent, expand its AI engine, and build toward full multi-CRM coverage and extending to solving other complex integrations. The goal is to reach 75 paying customers and $1M ARR, building toward a longer-term vision of becoming the world’s leading integration solution that makes every SaaS product enterprise-ready.
